“Nothing is particularly hard if you divide it into small jobs.”

Committees

The Chamber is a volunteer driven organization that relies heavily on committees to do the scope of work for events and programs. Committee involvement is another way to meet other business professionals.

Members are encouraged to join one of the Chamber’s committees–give us your input and develop relationships with other members at the same time. Many business relationships start as social friendships first, and volunteering for a committee gives you the opportunity to develop valuable long-term business relationships.

Ambassadors Committee

Ambassadors are the welcoming arm of the Chamber and are the first to meet new members and welcome attendees to Chamber events. They help promote the community and the Orange County Iranian American Chamber of Commerce. They welcome & mentor new Chamber members. They serve as the hospitality team at all events and activities as requested. They assist in greeting guests at ribbon-cuttings and other community events.

Membership Committee

They work to expand the membership base, improve retention and increase the activity and involvement level of Chamber members. They will review membership policies, communicate membership values, create programs that bring in new members and connect new members to organize their ribbon cutting.

Events Committee

Through hosting special events and programs, this elected group of business professionals provides leadership, organization and fundraising support to promote the overall mission of the Chamber.
