Shani Moslehi

President

Shani is passionate to help others and will go above and beyond her normal work load and shoulder the responsibility to work for and run OCIACC. She is the former president of the “Dolphin Force Foundation”, a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation. She has also dedicated her time and efforts to the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Irvine Chamber of Commerce, the American Cancer Society, and Habitat for Humanity. Shani has received many business awards and recognitions for leadership, mentoring, networking and service to the community and she is an alumni of Leadership Tomorrow which through its programs, expands knowledge, empowers citizens and promotes community involvement.

Faranak Shiravi

Faranak has been the lead project manager for multi-million dollar, multi-phased projects at Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. for 19 years. She is currently the Senior Project Manager with Loan Depot. Faranak’s passion is to help others through volunteering her time and using her resources. She is very active and involved in plenty of community service through different organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Orangewood Foundation and South County Outreach. The span of her services include helping local foster youth prepare for adulthood and life beyond foster care, building and repairing homes for elderly and needy families helping preserve the environment by planting trees and installing bird nests and canopies and help rebuild trails and steps.

Sheila Sharifi

Sheila – a former Silicon Valley Engineer and Manager – has been serving Capistrano Unified School District Foundation as Foundation manager since 2007, supporting fifty-five K-12 schools, and over 50,000 students in the district. The Foundation raises money from the OC community and provides grants directly to teachers and principals to supplement, and enrich the educational experience of the students in the district. Her commitment to education continues by being an active volunteer at her daughters’ school and serving as a board member on the Dana Hills High School Dolphin Force Foundation.
Sheila’s desire to help connect parents who are new to United States with educational and community resources has led to her participation and encouragement towards the formation of OCIACC from its inception. Sheila’s many years as CUSD foundation manager brings a wealth of knowledge to the new organization. She graduated from Sacred Hearts High School in Newton, MA and earned a BS and MS (with honors) in Electrical Engineering from Boston University. Sheila worked as an Engineer and Manager for GTE, Apple Computer and HP for total of 15 years.

Sara Vaziri

Sara is the founder and CEO of Franchise Elites; a franchise consulting company which helps individuals enter the world of entrepreneurship through franchising. She has MBA and has been in consulting for more than 15 years. During her work life she has helped an Engineering Consulting company grow from a 10 person company to become one of the best companies in its field of work with more than 150 employees.
Sara has great passion to empower individuals to start their own businesses and help them in facing the challenges they encounter in their businesses. Sara has joined OCIACC and has devoted her time and resources because she believes in the quote: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” Sara believes that the best charity concept is to teach people skills and empower them so that they can make their own living. She hopes that OCIACC becomes a perfect platform to provide such a help to the people in the community.

Rex Behrashi

Rex Behrashi is a financial advisor with Prudential Financial. His passion lies in creating long-term investment and planning strategies that empower his clients to achieve their financial goals.
Rex believes with the large Iranian population in Orange County, many of whom small business owners, OCIACC is an important organization. He actively helps OCIACC and focuses on the recognition of small businesses growth and their contributions to the community.

Ali Bavafa

Ali is a licensed mortgage and real estate broker representing sellers and buyers in residential and commercial lending and real estate since 2000. His expertise in real estate and mortgage loans has been drawing potential prospects worldwide. He is part of COLDWELL BANKER Real Estate International.

Ali’s passion is in protecting the environment and has been donating his time as a volunteer guide to Irvine Ranch Conservancy. Ali is proud to have joined the Orange County Iranian American Chamber of Commerce. As a seasoned professional, he appreciates OCIACC’s mission is connecting, networking, and supporting the business community, leaders and professionals of Orange County; and their collaboration in building strong relationships among the business community.

Maryam Sedadi

Maryam is the Vice President and Business Development Manager at California Bank & Trust, where she has utilized her experience for the last 17 years. She established and has been managing the Real Estate Deposit Group, which started at $10MM and is currently at $491MM. Her dedication to help others has led her to volunteer her time at various organizations. Her lifelong passion, however, remains faithful to art. She has organized and held several events for local artists in the last 2 years and by joining OCIACC. She hopes to be able to introduce, promote and connect local and non-local artists to the public. She wants to bring more appreciation to the artists, especially the Iranian artists, in her community. As Pablo Picasso said, “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life”.

Maziar Zamani

Ambassador

Maziar has more than 20 years of experience in the private sector. During this time he has founded an educational institute in Tehran. He was also very involved in an international business, supply chain management. Maziar has his BS and MBA in IT management. He speaks Farsi as well as English and German. He joined OCIACC in November 2015 to meet new people and learn of various business opportunities. He continues to support OCIACC as an Ambassador. He has a passion to help new businesses start and grow.

Sohaila Sue Sahami

Attorney at Law

Sohaila Sahami has been practicing law for over 20 years and currently is the sole practitioner at the Law Offices of Sohaila Sahami. Her two main areas of expertise are criminal defense and family law. As a certified mediator she has negotiated and reached favorable outcomes in other civil matters such as labor law disputes as well as business / contract matters.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Sahami received her Bachelors of Science from Michigan State University and her Masters of Business Administration from Northrope University. She received her J.D. in 1997 from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and was immediately admitted to the California Bar, the Federal and D.C. Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ms. Sahami was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Torts II and Federal taxation while in Law School.

Farnoosh Tinoosh

Dr. Farnoosh Tinoosh has been a practicing ophthalmologist, a laser vision correction specialist and is the sole proprietor of Universal Vision Medical Center in Costa Mesa since 1996 .

Dr. Tinoosh has board affiliations with American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and is a diplomat at National Board of Medical Examiners of the United States of America.

MICHAEL M. KAZEMI Esq.

Attorney at Law

Mr. Kazemi’s  area of expertise lies in immigration and family law matters.  He has extensive experience in obtaining complex Investor and employment based visas, including E-2, EB-5, H1-B and PERM/Labor Certification. He is also engaged in family unification cases encompassing child custody and child abduction cases within the framework of international laws. As a lawyer, teacher and activist, Mr. Kazemi has been involved in many progressive causes and has authored and published numerous articles on issues ranging from US constitutional Laws to social, political and cultural points of interests.

Shaahin (Sean) Espahbodi

Shaahin is the head of a professional design team and is an expert in high-end custom designed houses, multiple unit residential projects, resorts, contemporary tenant improvement, and commercial interior such as medical offices, restaurants and food establishments.
Shaahin received his Ph D in Urban Spaces, Geo-Dynamics from University’ de Nice, his post-master diploma from Universite’ Paris-Sorbnne, his M.A. from Institute of Art & architecture in Paris-Sorbonne and his B.A.in Architecture from University of Art, Tehran.

Leila Mozaffari

Director of the Orange County SBDC

Leila Mozaffari, the Director of the Orange County SBDC has extensive experience in the field of management consulting. Whether representing a national consulting firm or as an independent consultant, her advice has been sought by major corporations as well as small businesses in a wide range of industries throughout the United States.One of her specialties is sales and sales management. Over her career, Ms. Mozaffari has coached CEOs, presidents and owners of numerous companies in wide range of industries adopt effective and proven sales and sales management techniques. Her clients credit her with the success they have had in growing their sales. She is a regular speaker on the topic and asked regularly to contribute sales related articles to publications.

She has been recognized by the Association of Small Business Development Centers as a State Star, Senator Lou Correa as Women Making a Difference and by the Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce as the Community Advocate of the Year. In 2013, she was awarded the Black Chamber of Commerce of Orange County’s Michael R. Jones Business Impact award and the Community Advocate Person of the Year by of the Asian Business Association of Orange County for community involvement as a role model.

Ali Mansouri

Executive Director at ZDX Industries, Owner of OC Blues FC

Mr. Mansouri is the executive director of ZDX Industries a Santa Monica-based civil engineering firm. Ali Mansouri started the Orange County Blues Football Club, a second-tier Major League Soccer team now located in Irvine. In 2015, OC Bluesfc were named Regular Season Champsions in the USL Western Conference. Mr. Mansouri has been generously helping various charity organizations.

Behrouz (Bruce) Rajaee

Behrouz specializes in Investment Real Estate representing private and institutional clients and has been associated with Marcus & Millichap, a national investment real estate firm, since 1989. He represents a variety of client types including developers, individuals, partnerships, syndicators, corporations, financial institutions, and domestic and international investors.

Sussan Saghei

Sussan is the co-owner of Rug Firm; a family owned and operated business for two generations. Rug Firm buys and sells rugs, provides certified appraiser as well as professional wash and repair services.
She has a B.S. in Radiology from Ecole National de Chimie, Paris-France. She has worked as an MRI technician for 20 years and only retired to care for her elderly parents. Sussan was a volunteer ESL teacher for older adults at Aging Services in Salt Lake City, ESL instructor at Horizonte Technical School as well as private ESL teacher in Utah. She is an active volunteer at Sea Country Community Center helping seniors of our community. She also continues to dedicate much of her time teaching ESL.
